Sometimes a splash of color with evoke a memory and a title will come to me as the painting takes shape. Working will a limit of three to five tubes of paint and using those to mix and blend other colors creates a harmonious feel. I love the challenge of painting freely but still being aware of the composition and what makes a painting grab the viewer to come in for a closer look.
